It is sensitivity towards environment & well thought environmental education which can best help the future citizens make the complex, conceptual connections between economic prosperity, benefits to society, environmental health and our well-being.
Ramanujan students, right from Play Group are made aware of the environment. Once in a while classes are held outdoors to bring children close to nature. Excursions and Tours are planned to take the cause of environment realizations to the students. Inter-disciplinary class projects are avenues to research on the local environment issues and come up with solutions while helping students understand their role as change agents. In the process, these projects also help students gain skills such as problem solving, consensus building, information management, communication & creative thinking.
